Road safety
Every report makes the road safer
Potholes, accidents, flooding and broken-down vehicles cause avoidable crashes. When road users report what they see, everyone travelling behind them gets an early warning.

What makes a report useful
An accurate location
Use GPS or name the road, nearest town or landmark so others can find the exact spot.
A clear description
Say how serious it is and which lane or side of the road is affected. Photos help reviewers verify faster.
Honest reporting
Valid safety warnings appear after saving, labelled community reported and not yet verified. Content moderation continues separately; attachments stay private. False or malicious reports undermine everyone's safety.

Safety guidance for Zimbabwean roads
- Slow down well before a reported hazard — other drivers may brake suddenly.
- Keep a warning triangle, spare wheel, jack and wheel spanner in your vehicle.
- Never use your phone while driving; ask a passenger to report hazards, or stop safely first.
- At night, treat unlit broken-down vehicles as a serious hazard and reduce speed.
- During rains, avoid crossing flooded bridges and low-lying drifts.
- If you are first at an accident scene, make the scene safe before helping the injured.
